Epik Sport Edition (SE)

New for 2014, the Epik Sport Edition (SE) comes equipped with a new 350-watt brushless geared hub motor with 550-watt peak output combined with a seven-speed Shimano Tourney transmission — ideal for commuting to work, running errands or recreational riding with friends or family. The Epik SE is the ultimate commuter bike that combines the portability of a lightweight, compact folding frame with the beefy motor and smooth drivetrain found on higher-end, traditional commuter e-Bike models. The Epik SE features a 6061 aluminum foldable frame which inside conceals a 36V 9Ah lithium polymer battery. With a range up to 30 miles (depending on terrain and riders’ weight) the SE features three pedal assist modes along with a thumb throttle control. An innovative LED display features On/Off power, Battery level, Pedal Assist Level and Throttle/PAS models. Charging time is up to four hours. Other standard specs include a Velo Comfort Wide saddle, 20×1.75 Kenda puncture resistant street tires, DIA-COMPE front V-brake and Tekto rear disc brake with electric cut off, front and rear fenders and a rear rack. The bike weighs 42 pounds and folds to 19″ x 26″ x 34″. The Epik SE is available in Midnight Black and Frosty White. MSRP is $1,549.

Epik Lite

Weighing just 37 pounds, the Epik Lite may be the lightest folding electric bike available today — built with portability and simplicity in mind. Riders will travel far and fast on the Epik Lite, powered by a new 350-watt motor with a 550w peak output and an efficient single speed transmission. The Epik Lite comes with a long-lasting top-rated 36v/7Ah battery inside its foldable 6061 aluminum alloy frame — providing up to a 30-mile range depending on terrain and rider weight. The Epik Lite features three pedal assist modes along with a thumb throttle control, and an easy to read LED displays On/Off power, Battery level, Pedal Assist Level and Throttle/PAS models. Charging time is up to four hours. Other standard specs include a Velo Comfort Wide saddle, 20×1.75 Kenda K-Shield puncture resistant street tires, DIA-COMPE front and rear brakes with electric cut off, front and rear fenders and a rear rack, and front and rear LED lights. The Epik Lite folds 17″ x 25″ x 34″. The Epik Lite is available in Matt Black, British Racing Green and Titanium Gray. MSRP is $1,349.
