SAN DIEGO, Calif. – May 26, 2009 – Pearson Fuels has installed its 10th and 11th underground E85 Ethanol tanks at the Chevron Stations at 100 West Foothill Blvd. in Pomona CA and at 680 Commercial Street in San Jose, CA. The Pomona E-85 station will be the first in the Inland Empire when it opens this summer, and only the second public Ethanol station in Los Angeles County. The new station will also be the first in San Jose. Pearson Fuels built the first E85 fuel station in California seven years ago and continues its expansion statewide.

Under the terms of a recent agreement with AE Biofuels, Inc., (OTCBB: AEBF), a global vertically integrated biofuels company, Pearson Fuels will distribute cellulosic ethanol through its renewable fuels filling stations in California. Under the Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, 100 million gallons of cellulosic ethanol use is mandated in 2010, increasing to 1 billion gallons per year by 2013.
